In our ever changing, fast paced world, an end of life doula offers thoughtful, inclusive, non-denominational support for the terminally ill, the dying, and their loved ones.

Much like a birthing doula, an end of life doula provides guidance based on training, knowledge, and experience.

Doulas are not nurses, nor therapists. We are non-medical support trained to recognize and acknowledge grief, mourning, and bereavement. We understand terminal conditions and the active stages of dying, and we offer space for meaningful conversations and companionship before, during, and after a death.

We are not chaplains. We are non-denominational and we acknowledge and celebrate the desired traditions, rituals, and spiritual practices of each individual. The whole person.

Doulas do not deny grief. We do not offer false hopes. We work towards redefining hope and the acceptance of the inevitable.
